Founded by Emi Hillman, our 5-star rated studio was created with a vision to move beyond the stuffy, old-fashioned model of music education. Together with our passionate, highly skilled team, we blend strong musical foundations with a fresh, inspiring, student-centric approach - an ethos that underpins our work as an award-winning studio.

Our students shine at recitals, concerts, music festivals, regularly achieving Merits and Distinctions in exams while embracing wide and diverse repertoire. Through community outreach programmes with local schools and care homes, and a vibrant, supportive community, we make learning music something to truly enjoy and feel proud of.

At Emi Piano Studio, we’re proud to uphold ethical, sustainable practices and reducing waste wherever possible. Sustainability and responsible practices are part of how we run our studio.

We prioritise digital music sheets and resources wherever possible to reduce waste and stay organised.‍
Guest list check-ins for recitals - no printed tickets. We only print essentials, like recital programmes.
‍At studio events, we use recycled paper cups, plates, and wooden stirrers wherever possible.
All studio policy agreements are signed digitally.
